On 25 August 2023 the Company Secretary Designate Geoff Harvey sent the following message to all Members:
Nominations for Directors closed as planned on Monday 21st August at 17:00 BST.
I am pleased to announce Civica, our independent election services provider, advises that a total of ten of our Members put themselves forward for election, for the ten Directorships that are becoming vacant.
Please note that as there is no requirement under our Articles for an election where the number of Nominations does not exceed the number of vacancies, this means that the ten candidates will become appointed as our ten Directors, uncontested.
More information about our new Directors and their exciting plans for the Club will be available on the Club website in the coming days.
May I also take this opportunity to encourage our Members to attend the forthcoming AGM on Saturday 16th September at 11:00 BST (refreshments served from 10:00 BST).
Come along and take a look around the historic Barn (AMOC HQ and AMHT, address below), meet some of our Directors face to face, ask questions, and learn more about the health and direction of our great, growing Club.
