Area 20 Coffee and Cars Meetings for National Drive it Day
at Greendale Farm Shop, Nr Exeter and
Seaview Farm Shop, St Teath, Cornwall

For our Devon meeting for National Drive it Day, we headed out for a coffee and cars get together at the popular Greendale Farm Shop on the outskirts of Exeter.
Having learnt that we would not be the only car enthusiasts at Greendale on the day, we decided to team up with Talasi Detailing who were running their very first ‘Coffee and Cars’ monthly meeting for classic and supercar enthusiasts at Greendale which was being held in the overflow car park. In total approximately 120 cars turned out for the event where we put on a magnificent display of our cars adding a further 23 Astons into the ‘line up’ in a reserved parking area.
The weather just about held, for some new members this was a first event with the club, and it was great to see some members that we hadn’t seen for a while; a big welcome to Tony Daniels, Jeff Poole, Martyn and Lisa Laxton, Nicholas and Caroline Speller and Matthew Bazley who came along with his young family.
While we were busy in Devon, Joe Sharples was leading a similar event at the Seaview Farm Shop near St Teath in Cornwall. Again, another fantastic turn out with a further 9 cars booked in. Sadly, they were not quite so lucky with the weather with the rain coming down so hard it set off Joe’s car alarm!
