Well the beginning of 2021 hasn’t quite started how we wished and I suspect the events for at least the first three months may be cancelled but hopefully most of the fun we had planned for 2020 will be transposed to 2021.
Please note the Area 15 monthly meetings have been moved from the first Thursday of the month to the LAST Thursday of the month, however February’s meeting will be a Zoom meeting, joining info will be sent by email, so make sure your email address is up to date on the Club site.
December saw our Decorate your Aston Photo Competition the idea being to decorate your Aston with Christmas Decorations/Theme, there were excellent entries and the winners were:
1st Place - Steve & Gill Bland - with their “Santa’s Mobile Grotto”
2nd Place - Nick Green - with “Santa’s Sleigh 2020”
3rd Place - Roger Bridge - with “One Hell of a Drive Mr Bond”
In March, we have our election for Area Rep and Assistant Rep, I am happy to stand again for Area Rep and Andrew Jones is happy to stand for Assistant again. However, if anyone else wishes to stand for these positions, then please email me at area15@amoc.org by 28th February latest, as if there is a contest we need time to be able to arrange voting by email and distribute the contenders resumes.
