Area 20 at 44th Historic Vehicle Gathering at Powderham Castle

Over the weekend of 8 and 9 July we attended the 44th Historic Vehicle Gathering at Powderham Castle.  The event was organised for us by Andy Currie and we had 9 cars on the stand on the Saturday and 15 on Sunday.  Many thanks to Andy for making it such a great weekend.

Both days benefitted from superb weather and there were record crowds both days.  On Saturday there were 34,000 and even more on the Sunday. Our stand proved a great attraction with a constant stream of people coming in to look at our cars.

We had a great display of Astons covering the last 50 years from DB4 through to the very latest GT8.  The most common Aston over the weekend? The DB6!  Indeed, on Sunday we had 6 DB4/5/6's on the stand as part of a very colourful display.  We were also asked to take our cars into the arena to display our cars which and each of the owners told the crowd a little bit about their cars.

Finally, our thanks to all the owners who supported the event and brought their cars along for the public to enjoy.  We may even look to take along more cars next year.

A couple more pictures from each day.
