AMOC Charity Clay Challenge 2026

The Club and our President, Dr Ulrich Bez, are delighted to be fielding teams at the inaugural Aston Martin Owners Club Charity Clay Challenge in aid of The King's Trust. The event is open to both Members and non-Members.

Entries to field a team are now closed.

All shooting abilities will be joining us, whether you have never held a gun before, or are an accomplished shot. All instruction, safety wear, ammunition, and guns will be provided to participants.

This exclusive event will be held at the shooting grounds of gun-makers and sporting agency, Holland & Holland, who have been perfecting the art of shooting and gun-making craftsmanship since 1835. The grounds are in Northwood, just inside the M25 and approximately 13 miles from London Heathrow Airport.

For those joining us for the shoot, the day will start with breakfast at 9:00am, followed by a full briefing before the day formally starts with the ground's beloved tradition of firing a cannon! You will shoot a selection of "quarry" - all simulated by clay pigeons - at ten stands which will all be manned by professional instructors. In the early afternoon you will retire to the Lodge for a drink's reception, a delicious three-course lunch, and an exciting live auction. The day concludes with a prizegiving at 4.30pm.

In aid of the King's Trust

The Club is proud to be raising funds for The King's Trust. This is a wonderful charitable organisation that supports young people aged between 11 to 30, by providing training, financial assistance, and resources to help them overcome challenges, become empowered and help build successful futures.

Formerly The Prince's Trust and now celebrating 50 years, The Trust operates in over 20 countries globally and has supported more than 1.3 million young people worldwide.

The King's Trust began in 1976, when His Majesty King Charles III, when he was His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, had a bold idea. Having completed his duty in the Royal Navy, His Majesty became dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged young people in the UK. He founded The King's Trust (formerly The Prince's Trust) to deliver on that commitment.

Details of the day

For those who have booked to join us as a team: you will be competing as a team of four or two (teams of two will be paired up to make a four on the day).

You'll be provided with safety wear, a gun and ammunition, and full instruction.

All refreshments for the day are also included, beginning with breakfast at 9am. Refreshments will be served mid-morning. After the shoot, you will be treated to a sparkling wine reception, and then a three-course lunch with wine and coffee.

In the afternoon, an auctioneer will MC the charity auction in aid of the King's Trust. We have already secured some great lots, including a Breitling watch.

Smoked Cornish mackerel rillette, pickled cucumber & apple, dill and rye lavosh cracker

Main:
Pressed slow roast lamb shoulder, smoked aubergine, potato rosti, gremolata, marinated baby tomatoes

Valrhona chocolate mousse, salt caramel ganache, poached cherries, creme fraiche sorbet.

Lot 1: Shooting lesson with Dylan Williams

A 1hr Shooting lesson for two guests with Dylan Williams.

Named by publications such as Country Life and Tatler as one of the finest shooting instructors in the UK, Dylan Williams established the Royal Berkshire Shooting School in 1991 and has been providing instructional services to Game Shots for over 30 years.

Experienced “Hotshots” or total novices can bid, with entertainment assured!

Expires 11th September 2027. Includes clays but not cartridges. You are welcome to bring your own cartridges, or purchase them from the venue on the day. Travel to and from the experience is not included.
