Club Trophies

Throughout the Club's history a number of Trophies and Awards have been presented to Members for their services to the Club, from racing and competitions, to photography and volunteering. The Club is delighted to be sharing the histories of our trophies and their illustrious winners. These pages will grow in number as we add more and more trophies online.

The citation for some trophies and awards has changed over the years. For example, both the St John Horsfall Memorial Trophy and the Richard Stallebrass Memorial Trophy were awarded on the basis of points scored during the year; the former was for speed events longer than one mile in a pre-war 2-Litre and the latter was for attendances as an official or marshal at speed events (see AM, Vol 3, No. 1, 1952). On the other hand, the Members Trophy has always been awarded for the best (originally ''most meritorious'') performance with an Aston Martin anywhere in the world, Works drivers naturally figuring prominently among the early winners.

The list below are the trophies that have been added, there are may more to add over the coming months

The Club would like to extend its gratitude to Member Chris Wyatt, whose skills as a professional photographer are responsible for the photos on these pages, doing justice to their value and importance to the Club! Thank you, Chris.

If you would like to contribute to the project, particularly in helping to compile the history of the trophies and their past winners, please get in touch.
