2026 Annual General Meeting: Outcomes

Those Members who physically attended enjoyed refreshments and snacks, and access to the adjoining museum, run by the Club's sister institution, Aston Martin Heritage Trust.
The AGM was again live-streamed, and a further number of Members joined on-line.
The Club's retiring Chairman, Tom Westley, opened proceedings, and invited the Club's recently appointed President, Dr Ulrich Bez, to give some introductory comments.
The AGM then voted on each of the four resolutions, with results as follows :
1) "To approve the Minutes of the 2025 AGM"
For = 88; Against = 0; Abstain = 4
Resolution carried.
2) "To receive and consider the Report of the Directors for the year ended 31st March 2026"
For = 91; Against = 0; Abstain = 0
Resolution carried.
3) "To receive and consider the Accounts for the year ended 31st March 2026"
For = 92; Against = 0; Abstain = 0
Resolution carried.
4) "To re-appoint Wenn Townsend as Auditors of the Club at a fee to be agreed"
For = 92; Against = 0; Abstain = 0
Resolution carried.
The Chairman then handed over to Deputy Chairman Richard Butler to announce the results of the election of Officers and Members of the Management Committee of the Club: Jason Karr was elected as the new Chairman (uncontested), Deborah Tyler-Curtis will continue as Director of External Relations, Sponsorship and Marketing (uncontested), and Peter Saglietti was elected as Director Rest of the World, taking over from Jim Tweddle (uncontested).
Richard Butler also took the opportunity to warmly thank the two Directors standing down at this AGM - Tom Westley as Chairman, and Jim Tweddle as Director Rest of the World - for their contributions over their tenures.
Richard Butler then handed back to Tom Westley, who thanked HQ Staff for their contributions, and then brought the formal part of the AGM to a close.
This was followed by an update from the retiring Chairman on the Club's progress over the last 12 months.
Jason Karr, incoming Chairman of the Club, then addressed Members present and on-line with his thoughts as he assumed leadership of the Club.
