As we head into May the number of events we can attend rises dramatically.
It all started over the Holiday weekend with Area 22 represented at the Donnington Historic meeting and also the AM themed weekend at Concours House (was Five Zeros.) There is a plan to go back to the latter as an Area 22 event. Watch this space…
Next up in May, on 27th, is the excitement of our visit to the Badminton Estate, with special access to areas normally out of bounds. Before that our first tourists of the year head off on the Whitby Endeavour. When the original, Whitby built and Cook skippered, Endeavour set sail in 1768 she was away for 3 years! We expect our own Captain Mitchell to return his crew in a matter of days, but you never know…
The arrival of flaming June heralds a return to Nick Mason’s Middlewick House on 6th, alongside Area 13 if you’re up for an early start! The same weekend sees the AMOC Spring Concours meeting based around Alnwick Castle and later in the month, on Sunday 21st, the AMOC Festival at the British Motor Museum. Tickets for both are still available via the AMOC website.
Before all that we head for the Greyhound in Siddington again this Thursday, 7th May, and we look forward to seeing everyone there.
