Do you want to have a bit more fun with your Aston Martin, or your daily car, of any model? The Club’s Speed Championship may be just what you didn’t know you were looking for!
Sprinting and hill climbing is the perfect ‘entry level’ introduction to motorsport. Only one car is on track at a time, you can go at a speed that you feel comfortable with. The other competitors are welcoming and will support you as you find your feet and help if you have a mechanical query or problem.
The Championship has classes for Aston Martins of all eras and for non Aston Martins. As well as class and overall trophies for the fastest cars, there is also a handicap system aimed at the newer entrants who improve their times the most.
To qualify for the end of year Championship Awards, you need to register your car. To access the registration forms, you need to log in to the website and go to the Speed Championship page (
Link). The individual Class regulations and registration forms are at the bottom of the page.
You can find out more from the Club website (
Link), email anne.reed@amoc.org or, some of our AMOC competitors will be bringing their cars to the Alnwick Concours (7th June 2026) and the AMOC Festival at the British Car Museum (21 June) and will gladly answer any questions you have.
