The outward bound tour had 21 cars and 40 people. Starting at the Loisium Wine & Spa Hotel Champagne in the village of Mutigny, we were surrounded by rolling vineyards.
Dinner followed a private guided tour of our Sponsor Pommery Champagne Caves and was held in their beautiful Art Deco Villa Demoiselle. Here we had a group photo.
Day 2: a 342Km drive through the Vosges mountains to the Hotel & Spa Husseren Les Chateaux at Hotel & Spa Husseren Les Chateaux at Eguisheim, in the Alsace Region.

Day 6: A guided tour to the Neuschwanstein Castle, perched dramatically on a forested hilltop, surrounded by the Bavarian Alps.
The afternoon saw a 241Km drive along the German Alpine Road, with views of alpine peaks, glacial lakes and traditional villages to the Hotel Gut Brandlhof, the location of the 90th Anniversary weekend.

The homeward bound tour also had 21 cars and 38 Members but a different mix from the outward tour.
Day 1: we were fortunate that the Grossglockner High Alpine road was fully open, unlike when the 72 Aston Martins went on Friday only to be turned back before the top. This 48Km route goes through the heart of the Austrian Alps and up into the Hohe Tauern National Park and peaks at 3,798m high. We stopped off at the Pasterze Glacier. 243Km later, we were in the Italian Dolomite Mountains, ending at the Hotel Marmolada in Corvara.
Day 2: This was the day of Mountain Passes. First the Stelvio Pass (2,757m), with 75 hairpin turns.
Followed by another 6 Passes - Passo Gardena, Passo Sella, Passo Carezza, Passo Umbrail, Ofenpas and Fluela Pass. Someone counted that there were 169 hairpin bends over the day. We ended our 265Km drive at the Ameron Davis Swiss Mountain Resort.
Day 3: a 385Km drive, on easier roads, took us past Zurich, Basel and Strasbourg, via Lake Konstanz, the Black Forest and the Vosges du Nord. Our last hotel, not far from the Franco-German border was the Hotel La Clairiere, where we had a goodbye drinks reception and dinner.
