I write to you all this month from the RACV club in Melbourne Australia, having just finished a really lovely dinner with Bronwyn and Richard from AMOC Victoria, with many thanks for their annual calendar and latest publication which i look forward to digesting!
My sincere thanks go to Dimitri and Paul at Aston Martin Melbourne also for being so welcoming at the dealership also earlier this week…
I have told them all to expect the arrival of Edward Jensen for the Melbourne F1 in the coming weeks, and noted the track is already being prepared for the opening race of the season.
On my way here Greig, Karina and I held the Area 00 Christmas party at the Peninsula hotel in Hong Kong where a truly great time was held by all, where we were also warmly welcomed by Michael who represents the AMOC in Hong Kong, and the team at Aston Martin Hong Kong.
Meeting everyone on my current travels brings into clear focus the amazing global community we all enjoy and the strength of us collaborating together… It's really really wonderful and truly inspiring….
In other news however Matt despite a minor hangover once again perfectly organised the Area 00 presence at the London New Years Day Parade despite some rather challenging weather conditions this year, with Graham going above and beyond as always to capture the perfect shots! I would say this years Aston line up was one of the best ever, and our sincere thanks go to the organisers for again hosting such a great event which we were proud to be represented at.
I should land back in London just in time for the very special AMHT Walter Hayes lecture later this month, where I hope to catch up with many of you.
Just before Christmas we held a zoom call taking us back to those lockdown days for old times sake, which was a lot of fun as always!
In conclusion, wishing all a wonderful 2025 and roll on our Mayfair to Miami tour just before Easter…, our greatest ever adventure! Thank you to all around the globe who are assisting us with the logistics, we are truly grateful and look forward to enjoying the adventure with you all!
All my best,
Jason
