George said: "I have been to a Concours before but never really understood it, but now I have been involved in it I think it is amazing how the cars are preserved and enjoyed. The paint glowed in the sun and the chrome was so shining you could clearly see your own reflection in it. The line up of cars was a Fabulous sight In front of the beautiful backdrop of Burghley House. I was lucky enough to get to help judge the Newport Pagnell V8 class which contained some of my favourite cars but I also enjoyed the variety there as well. There are not many places where you can be looking at an immaculate pre war car then walk a few hundred yards to go and have a look at the latest and greatest Astons."
