Does anyone know of a reason why I should not fit NGK ITR6F13 Laser Iridium long life spark plugs into a 2003 Vanquish

If you are going to do the plugs do the coils as well  ;)

Andrew, I installed those in my 03 VAnquish when I replaced my coils. I have been entirely happy with their performance. I have no carbon loading in any kind of driving. I previously used the NGK Iridium equivalent when I did the coils on my DB7VV and I was equally happy with the results.

Thanks for that, the car has only done 20,000 miles, would the coils need replacing and where should I get them.

ten fingers and two toes and a pair of crotchless knickers  Doctor  ::)

It's not so much that they need replacing you have to take off so much stuff if one of the coils brakes down its a pain in the A**e to take off plus you have to change the two inlet manifold gasgits  so play safe and change them  ;)
I had a deal with Lancaster reading 10% off got the gasgets and coils for about £1200.oop GP  I could be wrong ? ;)

My coils failed with less than 10,000 miles. It seems age is as important as milage. Apparently no one has ever needed to change the coils a second time from my understanding.

Since 2003 my GT has had 2 sets of Plugs and one set of Coils. The last Coil/Plug set being fitted by myself in 2010.

I paid circa £850 max for the whole job completed!, of course labour was of no cost to myself.

Parts bought from HWM, Walton-on-Thames except plugs which came off Ebay for £50 !!!
