Following on from the undoubted success of our previous Blyton Park Trackdays, AMOC Members returned this year. A great time was had by all, enjoying lots of track time. The event has been booked again for 18 June 2021.
The circuit can easily accommodate 30 cars and still provide almost unlimited track time for all those participating, so don’t miss out on another chance to enjoy your car. The event is primarily designed for road legal cars and although we would like to see lots of Astons you can take part in any make of car and you do not have to have previous trackday experience. In terms of equipment, all you will require is a crash helmet; a motorcycle one is acceptable and some will be available for hire at the circuit. You will also need to produce a current driving license.
Blyton Park Circuit is located in Lincolnshire (DN21 3PE) on the Old Blyton airfield. The track is tarmac, not concrete as some airfield circuits, and there are plenty of run-off areas and an absence of solid objects, so ideal for beginners but also fast and technical enough for the more experienced driver. The on-site facilities are excellent and local accommodation is available. If you are insured through Lockton, you will probably be covered for trackdays, but please check. Other insurers also offer trackday cover.
Registration details for next year will follow later in the year.
