We have again been extended an invitation to the Concours of Elegance to display members’ Aston Martins in the Great Fountain Gardens of Hampton Court Palace on Saturday 7th September and in collaboration with the Royal Automobile Club.
We will once again assemble in the morning and in chronological order drive into the Palace grounds.
There will be a small cost per car (£25 which covers the car and driver) any passengers/guests will be expected to purchase admission tickets at a discounted rate of £25 per adult. The tickets cover full access to Hampton Court Palace and the State Apartments.
This year, Members who attend will receive a plaque, similar to the Concours winners plaques, in recognition and thanks for their attendance.
If you would like to be part of this display, tickets can be purchased on line at:
using the discount code of AMOCVIP
Please note, this year we are limited to 40 cars and tickets are available on a first come first served basis.
Four Aston Martins, owned by Club Members, will be judged by a panel of experts, including HRH Prince Michael of Kent, against other car clubs in the UK.
If your Aston Martin has had Concours success in the past and you’d like to be considered for the Club Trophy, please let me know at email@example.com.
Zagato 100th Anniversary
2019 represents the 100th anniversary of Carrozzeria Zagato, the legendary Italian coachbuilder. To celebrate the Zagato centenary, as well as 60 years of collaboration between Zagato and Aston Martin, at this year’s Concours of Elegance, myself and Jamie Adams will be curating a celebratory display of, hopefully, one of every Aston Martin Zagato model and variant ever manufactured:
Concours of Elegance is established firmly as one of Europe’s finest concours events and, with support from Aston Martin Lagonda and the AMHT, we are hoping to assemble 19 fantastic Zagato-styled Aston Martins on the lawns of Hampton Court Palace from Friday, 6th to Sunday, 8th September 2019. If we are successful, this will be the first time ever that all historic Aston Martin Zagato models have been displayed together. We also believe that, all being well, this will be the first time that a pair of new cars from the DBZ Centenary Collection (DBS GT Zagato and DB4 GT Zagato Continuation) will be on public display in Europe.
