The Events Sub-Committee are looking at providing a UK Tour in 2024 (and a European Tour in 2025).
We are putting together a specification for the tender process.
It would be useful to hear from any Members who might be interested in joining the tour, what you would like to be included.
We are happy to hear about any aspect of the tour but here are a few questions to get things started:
- what sort of mileage would you want to do a day
- do you want to be in a different hotel each night
- how many days do you want the tour to be
- do you want 'free' time or have pre-planned visits/meals for the whole tour
- do you want a 'menu' option so Members can join for a day if the tour is near you
- what level of hotels do you want to stay in (3 star, 4 or 5 star)
- what sort of venues would you like to visit during the tour (car museums/circuit track run etc)
- any particular part of the UK that we should aim for
- should we aim to have the tour adjacent to a Club/other event (Spring Concours, Silverstone Festival, Goodwood Revival etc)
- anything else you would want
- anything you want us to avoid
If there are any Members, who have experience in this area, who would be willing to work with us to put together the Specification and look at the Tenders received, we would appreciate hearing from you.
