Area 20 Devon Club Evening

Ian Postles | Published on 6/7/2017

It is very unusual for the sun not to shine on our Turtley Corn Mill meetings.  This time however the weather was very unkind with strong winds and bursts of heavy rain resulting in quite a low attendance.  Just twelve members braved the elements but they did not leave the Astons at home as we had five in the car park.  Special mention must go to Rob & Julie Harris who negotiated much of Dartmoor in their V12 Vantage on their drive from the north coast of Cornwall.  So no fine weather only cars tonight!

Our numbers may have been down but Turtley was buzzing as is usual so with some judicial table organising by the Turtley team the Mill Room was full and the atmosphere set good for an enjoyable and fun evening for all.

Will Khoo of AJ Tech, the independent Aston Martin specialist based in Devon, joined us and appeared to look after the majority of the Aston Martins there.  Obviously his recently enforced trading name change has not diminished his growing success with owners and members.

Again we must all thank Lesley Anne Brunning and her team at Turtley Corn Mill for their great service, good food and very friendly atmosphere.
