Back to the usual weather for our final Club Evening of the year and the sun shone. 26 Members with a good display of Astons in the car park plus a few interlopers which we kindly allowed to park with the proper cars! I have to say that the AC Cobra was particularly spectacular and well done to John and Dominique for attending in a car which has no roof. Well it does apparently but you cannot go over 50mph!
We also had the opportunity to welcome Andy & Jo Russell who have just joined the Club having acquired a beautiful Tungsten V8 Vantage Roadster. We hope that you enjoyed yourselves and that we see you both at future events.
It was last great to see Colin Stewart and Joe Trevethan who had come up from Cornwall to attend. There was a great atmosphere in the Mill Room and now that we have got the Cornwall evenings running every month then hopefully we will be able to say the same about Devon next year.
Will Khoo of AJ Tech, the independent Aston Martin specialist based in Devon, joined us and it appears that many local owners are availing themselves of he excellent services.
Our thanks to Richard Dix for organising these evenings for us and we must also thank Lesley Anne Brunning and her team at Turtley Corn Mill for their great service, good food and very friendly atmosphere.
