Please understand that orders placed through this website (and mail, fax and telephone orders) with standard shipping take up to 1 month from acceptance of order to shipping date. If you must have your order by a specific date (e.g. for a birthday), please mention this in your order. (If the Members' Shop is out of stock of any of the items you order, I aim to let you know if filling of such orders will need extra time. See also the note above for Special and Custom orders.) To prioritize your order please choose a shipping upgrade at product code SHP1 or choose Special Shipping above, AND include your special shipping requirements in the 'Customer Note' box, along with your Membership Number, or send an explanatory email to Stephen Cox .

For items marked 'Special Order' such as the Scottish knitwear range please allow additional shipment time, anticipate 4-6 weeks. Items marked 'Custom Order' will take longer in order to personalize your purchase, the relevant page will have details.

Ordering

Members may order AMOC items and obtain order forms, quotes or other information by the following methods:

Order online from here using this 'AMOC Members' Shop' website. We accept many major credit cards (see box above), and our orders are processed securely online by SagePay .

The online store is available 24 hours a day. To order online, please first create an account, using the register link at the foot of the column on the left. You will receive an email after your account is approved, then you can come back to the shop website and login to use your shopping basket.

Approval is currently still a manual process and so may take several days if you apply outside UK office hours or on a day I am not scheduled to be in (I am usually scheduled to be at work Mon-Tue-Wed). It is allowed to order goods on behalf of or for a member.

If you are not a member please send an explanatory email to Stephen Cox at the same time as applying for your account, as normally if the account holder name doesn't match the membership number name, the account application won't be approved. Put a short explanation also in the box provided for membership number.

Applications without a membership number or appropriate explanation will be rejected without any correspondance being entered into.

Members please type your membership number in the 'CUSTOMER NOTE' box when you order. This will help speed your order.

Phone the Members' Shop on 01865 893934 (International +44 1865 893934). The shop is normally manned Mon-Wed between 9:00 and 17:00 UK time, and voice messages can be left outside these hours. All other Club staff can take orders during UK office hours, but may not be able to answer queries in detail, call the club switchboard on 01865 400400 (International +44 1865 400400), select option 0.

Payment

Prices are shown inclusive of Taxes (VAT) if applicable and packing and shipping, usually Royal Mail 2nd class or small packet surface mail, plus handling.

Shipping

A choice of "STANDARD" or "SPEEDED" shipping is now available. Standard shipping is by Royal Mail 2nd class/parcel/surface mail, and Speeded shipping is by Royal Mail 1st Class/Airmail recorded/signed for or by courier. 

Current rates are:
UK = United Kingdom, EU = Europe, RoW = everywhere else (Rest of World)

SMALL PRINT (Distance Selling Regulations (DSR))

Prices include VAT where applicable. Our VAT number is GB 222511905 Currently there are no applicable special offers on the goods in this website other than those notified – however prices may change at any time. Payment terms: Payment with order. Payment details: Credit card, cheque or cash. Despatch will be made by Royal Mail to the address above within 30 days of order acceptance or as arranged. Overseas Shipments: Delivery is made door to door under Incoterms 2000 DDU – all destination country duties, taxes etc. are payable by the addressee. DSR RIGHT TO CANCEL: You may cancel your order by returning the goods unused within 7 days of receipt to our address above. Written details of cancellation must be included. (If possible, please mark for attention of Shop, and include our reference number above). Any refund will be for value of goods only, not delivery charges (p+p) or return costs. This letter is both the contract and durable information required under the DSR (Distance Selling Regulations).
