Following an exciting day's racing at Oulton Park on Saturday 15th September, the results for the AMOC UBS Aston Martin Championship and the AMOC Intermarque Championship are attached.
The AMOC UBS Aston Martin Championship looks to be going to Doug Barker, although mathematically any of the top seven could still win it. Realistically his biggest threat comes from Keith Piper, as he can count all of his Donington score, whereas Nicholas Ruddell and Mark Campbell each have to drop points. The Classic section is between Charlie Kemp and Chris Scragg, with Charlie effectively 50 points ahead after adjusting for a dropped score. Of the contested classes, only A3 and C3 have already been won by Nicholas Ruddell and Chris Scragg respectively. B2 and C2 look set for dramatic head-to-head battles at Donington, wtih B2 between James Wenyon, Robert Rawe and Karsten Le Blanc, and C2 between David Such and Geoffrey Lewis. Turning to the Intermarque Championship, the team positions look settled (Sunbeam, Aston Marty 6 Cylinder, Porsche). Tristan Bradfield looks to have secured the individual and Class A titles. Although Paul Clayson and Andrew Yates could still catch him, it would require a sensational result for either of them to do so. Class B is betwen Tim Mogridge and Stephen Archer, with classes C and D already won by Charlie Kemp and Chris Scragg respectively. We are all looking forward to an exciting finale at Donington on the 30th September. Intermarque Points After Oulton Park 17/09/2007,14:38 11.59 Kb
