...to Scotland - Failte gu Alba
Area 19 is the largest area geographically in the UK which makes getting together somewhat more difficult than in the rest of the UK. For this reason we have split the area into 2 districts:
- In the West the assistant Rep is Peter Mulholland.
- In the East the post is held by Wayne Gray, assisted by David Barr and Alan Ferguson in the Edinburgh area.
They organise events and meetings for the entertainment of members and so people can keep in touch with other members in their local areas. These meetings happen on a regular day each month in some districts with additional events being organised, such as tours, weekends away or visits to classic car shows, over the summer months.
If you are interested in the competitions side there are members who race, hill climb or attend Concours d’ Elegance that you can get together with.
Members own a large variety and age of cars, ranging from the 1930’s right up to current production models, thus there is always somebody interested in the model of car that you may have. Quite a few members have technical knowledge of their cars and are only too willing to share this with other members. Combined meetings with Areas 6 and 9 usually feature in the calendar too.
