The first Race Meeting of the AMOC 75th Anniversary will be held at Snetterton on (Easter) Monday 5th April. The season opens with rounds of both AMOC Classic Championship and the AMOC Intermarque Championship.
The AMOC Championship was closely fought in 2009 with it ending in a nail biting tie between David Reed and Chris Scragg. It is strongly expect that both David and Chris will be back to defend their titles in 2010, and maybe, chase it for a second year running for themselves.
The AMOC Intermarque Individual Champion of 2009 was Tristan Bradfield in his fastidiously prepared Sunbeam Tiger. Tristan also helped lead the Sunbeam Team to it's overall honors as 1st Team for 2009. The Sunbeams will hope to keep that title away from the clutches of Marenello or Stuttgart, with a fresh new challenge coming from Ferrari and Porsche, not to mention the Aston Martin Teams.
The ever growing 50's Team Challenge will get under way at Snetterton with a 40 minute 2 driver race to create a new challenge for Astons, Lancias, Jaguars and Austin Healeys to have a shot of Team Glory.
For 2010 Aston Martin Racing have formed the GT4 Challenge for all Aston Martin N24/GT4s. This exciting new Series Will begin with a 2 Driver Endurance Race bringing a more modern feel to AMOC Race Meetings in 2010. As with all one make racing, this new series is set to provide close and exciting racing for both the driver and the long standing AMOC Supporters.
