 As if the standard DB7 Vantage didn't deliver sufficient excitement the engineers at AML, encouraged by customer demand, have managed to produce the ultimate DB7 version. A stunning blue DB7 GT was unveiled at the 2002 Birmingham Motor Show with a useful power and torque increase to 435 bhp and 410 lb/ft respectively. The suspension has been substantially modified and has thus stiffened the chassis by 20%. Special attention has been paid to the aerodynamic balance for high speed stability with the adoption of additional sweeps for the under tray, wheel arch liner extensions and a revised boot lid spoiler, which emphasises the new look. For customers not wanting the standard six speed manual transmission the GTA variant features a 5-speed Touchtronic gearbox.
