It has been decided that Driving Experience Days will replace the old Track Days previously organised by the Competitions Sub-committee and will now be managed by the Social Sub-committee. The simple reasons for this change are as follows:- - We are keen to attract the drivers of road cars only, not racing cars, the opportunity to drive their cars at high speed and to test their own driving ability off public roads with qualified and experienced instructors under controlled conditions in a safe environment.
- That a day, or even a half day, out should be an event where Members can bring their family or guests to enjoy the driving experience along with the spectacle and social aspects too.
N.B. More details on the Club's first Family Driving Day in 2010 will follow as soon as they are vailable early in the New Year, meanwhile please do look out for further announcements on this section of the website.
