Virage and Derivatives (1988-2000)

 In 1996, the V8 Coupe properly replaced the Virage as the 'standard' car in the Aston Martin coach built range. It was probably the car that the Virage should have been. Whilst comparable in appearance to the Vantage, with similar front and rear end treatments, the 350 bhp 5.3 litre V8 engine made do without the twin superchargers. Elegant and devoid of ostentation, production of the V8 coupe ended in 1999 with just 101 examples having been produced.
