Aston Martin Owners Club members are once again invited to join the Motor Racing Legends Heritage Parade event at the Le Mans 24 Hours weekend from 10th to 14th June 2010.
There is a range of options available, including a full 5-day, 4-night tour with Channel Crossings via Eurotunnel and a choice of 3-star hotels and chateaux; or, for those who prefer to make their own way to La Sarthe and arrange their own accommodation, a circuit and hospitality package.
Whichever is chosen, the event includes the Heritage Parade – your chance to drive several laps of the full 8½-mile 24 Hours circuit on the morning of the race.
Aston Martin themselves are also offering their
VIP Hospitality Package.
A Step back in time.
The Hotel de France at La Chartre sur Le Loir has been described as ‘The Most Famous Motor Racing Hotel in the World’. It has now been run by the Pasteau family for over 100 years and was first used by the Aston Martin Team in 1953, when John Wyer felt that the team had outgrown the capacity of the Chateaux at the Domaine de Beauchamps
The Hotel has strong associations with the AMOC and hosted a sell out Champagne reception last year to celebrate 50 years since the ‘59’ win. We are therefore proud to announce that the Club is hosting a similar Champagne and Canapés Lunch reception at the Hotel on Friday 11th June at noon. Once again we have arranged for the Town Square to be closed for Aston Martin Parking only, and are hoping to also attract a few Team Cars to be displayed down by the side of the Restaurant.
There should be ample Champagne, and of course Orange Juice for the drivers, as well as enough Canapés to mean you will leave suitably refreshed and fed. Tickets are only £35.00 for members and £40.00 for guests. Tickets
