Chelsea AutoLegends Ltd, in association with the Royal Hospital Chelsea, presents an all-new late-summer celebration in support of the Chelsea Pensioners, including legendary Le Mans racing cars and drivers; classic, performance and prestige automobiles; car parades and military displays; and trade and memorabilia stands – all hosted at the famous Royal Hospital Chelsea, celebrated venue of the Chelsea Flower Show and home to the Chelsea Pensioners.
For the first time ever at this fabulous central London location, visitors can bring the whole family to witness an unparalleled display of spectacular 220mph+ Le Mans cars and to meet and collect autographs from some of the legendary race drivers that tamed these monsters of the track.
Our line up of stars and cars is growing in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Porsche first win at Le Mans and the filming of the classic Steve McQueen movie there. The line up includes Britain’s own 5 x Le Mans winner Derek Bell MBE and celebrated sports car veteran David Piper who helped make the movie and the actual 1970 winner Richard Attwood.

Sir Stirling Moss OBE will open this year’s inaugural Chelsea AutoLegends, an exciting new automotive extravaganza to be staged in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea on Sunday 5 September.
Britain’s best-loved and most famous racing driver – and London Mayfair resident – made his competition comeback at last weekend’s Silverstone Classic after an accident at home in March that left him with two broken ankles and four chipped vertebrae. Now the 80-year-old racing legend is looking forward to launching the greatest collection of competition and performance cars that the capital has ever hosted, and also helping to raise funds for the Chelsea Pensioners.
“It’s wonderful and exciting that London, one of the greatest cities in the World, finally has a high-class car motoring event – and about time too,” says Moss. “I’m look forward to opening the show on the 5th September and hope to see many of you enthusiasts supporting the event as I am.”
