The RBS Williams F1 Conference Centre is home to the Williams F1 Grand Prix Collection which spans the team’s history from 1978 to the present day.
Based at Grove, near Wantage in Oxfordshire we have arranged an exclusive tour for AMOC members to include
• Refreshments on arrival.
• Full tour of museum plus audio-visual history of the team and story behind the cars.
• The Trophy Room with displays of memorabilia and some of the most prestigious and interesting cups the Williams team have won.
• Technology Room with examples of all aspects of F1 car’s engineering including:
FW07 Chassis driven by Carlos Reutemann.
1st Williams designed carbon fibre monocoque driven by Nigel Mansell.
FW22 gear box driven by Jenson Button.
As a special treat we hope that ‘Green Pea’ will also make an appearance for all to see.
We will then take a leisurely drive across country to the wonderfully peaceful setting of Tadpole Bridge, a River Thames crossing point near the Oxfordshire village of Bampton.
Here, you’ll find the Trout, an unusual, historic Inn, located by the Thames Path. A Free House with just six bedrooms, the Trout is a destination in its own right, with riverside walks and berthing for up to six boats – a real ‘escape from it all’ location.
Cost per head including lunch £65.00. Numbers will be limited so please call me to book your place for what should be a very special and unusual day out.
